Woo Hoo

Been a busy weekend. I got a order for a custom necklace over the weekend! Not too bad for not really marketing all that well.

I also will be shipping out stuff for the sorority's founders day coming up.

Exciting stuff.........

What is on tap for me

I have my sorority's founders day in a few weeks. What this means is that I have to get together stuff to send up to NJ for the silent auction.

I think I have enough stuff to be able to put some stuff together and send but not totally sure.

I also have to put together a newsletter for the event but that's not a big deal.

Any thoughts on what jewelry I should do?

What has been up with me lately

I know that I have been really bad about updating the blog on the past 2 or so years. I promise that I have a really good reason.

In September of last year I found out that I was just about 2 months pregnant. This was great news because we had been trying for a while. Fast forward to April of this year and I had our son JD. Short for James Douglas, we named him after our fathers. He is 6.5 months old now and a big distraction. :-)

Also while out on maternity leave I was laid off just after my short term disability ran out when JD was about 6-7 weeks old. Since then I have been looking for a new full time job.

Anyway, that's a huge post for the mobile app so I will just leave all of you with this photo of JD.
